General hotel terms and conditions

1. General Provisions
1.1. These General Hotel Contractual Conditions (hereinafter: GHCC) constitute the contractual terms under which HOTEL TÂRNAVA 2000 SRL (Address: Romania, 535600 Odorheiu Secuiesc, Piața Primăriei no. 16, Trade Registry no.: J19/8/2001, Fiscal code: RO 13640850, Tel: +40 266 213 963, Email: office@kukullo.ro, Website: www.kukullo.ro, hereinafter referred to as the Provider) enters into a general accommodation contract with its guests.
1.2. Special conditions are not part of these GHCC but do not exclude the possibility of specific agreements with travel agencies or tour operators, based on the collaboration circumstances.

2. Contracting Parties
2.1. The services provided by the Provider are used by the Client. If the reservation is made directly by the Client, they become the contracting party. The Provider and Client (the Parties) enter into a contract once all necessary conditions are met.
2.2. If a third party (hereinafter: Intermediary) makes the reservation on behalf of the Client, the contractual relationship between the Intermediary and the Provider is based on their agreement. The Provider is not obligated to verify the legal authority of the Intermediary.

3. Conditions of Service Use
3.1. Upon verbal or written request, the Provider always sends a written offer. If no firm order is received within 72 hours, the offer expires.
3.2. The contract is valid only after the Client's written order is confirmed in writing by the Provider.
3.3. Verbal reservations, modifications, agreements, or confirmations by the Provider are considered contractually valid.
3.4. The accommodation service contract is for a fixed period.
3.5. If the Client checks out earlier than agreed, the Provider is entitled to full payment. The room may be re-let.
3.6. Extension of the stay requires the Provider’s prior approval and may be subject to payment of prior services.
3.7. Identity must be verified according to legal regulations before check-in. No one can be accommodated without registration.
3.8. Any changes or additions to the contract must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.

4. Check-in and Check-out
4.1. Rooms can be occupied from 14:00 on the day of arrival.
4.2. If the Client does not arrive by 22:00, the Provider may cancel the reservation, unless a later time was agreed.
4.3. If an advance was paid, the room is held until 24:00 on the arrival day.
4.4. Check-out must be completed by 10:00 on the departure day.
4.5. Early check-in or late check-out may be requested in advance, subject to availability and extra charge.

5. Extension of Stay
5.1. Extending the stay requires prior consent from the Provider.
5.2. If the room is not vacated by 10:30 without approval, the Provider may charge an additional day, and its service obligation ends.

6. Prices
6.1. Prices are displayed at the reception. Other service rates are displayed in relevant hotel areas.
6.2. The Provider reserves the right to change prices without notice (e.g., for promotions or discounts). Written confirmation secures the price.
6.3. Price information is available at the reception.
6.4. Prices include VAT but do not include the local tourist tax, payable on-site. Changes in VAT law may be passed on to the Client with prior notice.

7. Offers and Discounts
7.1. Offers are posted on the hotel’s website and apply only to individual bookings.
7.2. Offers cannot be combined with other discounts.
7.3. Group bookings or events are subject to special contracts.

8. Child Discounts
8.1. Accommodation and meal discounts with at least one adult in the same room:
0–3 years: free
3–12 years: 50% discount
Over 12: full adult rate.
8.2. Extra beds are available only in certain room types.
8.3. Requests for extra beds must be made in advance at booking.

9. Cancellation Policy
9.1. Unless otherwise stated:
Cancellation within 24 hours = 100% penalty for one night.
9.2. If an advance payment was made and the Client does not show up without written cancellation, the advance is forfeited. Room is held until 24:00.
9.3. If the reservation is not guaranteed (by deposit, card, etc.), the Provider’s obligation ends at 22:00.
