Ölves - Lakóca-tető/Comandău-Ölves-vârful lăcăuți

Without doubt the most beautiful and best known hike in the mountain group. You can also drive up to the Ölves, from where you have an almost uninterrupted panoramic view.

The peak of Lakóca/Vârful Lacauți is the highest in Covasna County at 1777 metres. At the top you will find the meteorological station building. Beware: there are dogs, and they are not always friendly! And although it lies on the other side of the county border, it is worth crossing to the top of Gor Hill. It's the highest peak of the Vráncsa/Vrancei mountain range (1785m), and it's also a nature reserve.
